Enyedi Agnes (voice) and Salamon Soma (flute) are one of the most well-known and active members of the Hungarian “Dance House” movement. The young, award-winning artists showcase authentic folk music of various regions of the Carpathian Basin, with particular focus on music from the Transylvanian, Moldova and Transdanubia regions.
The duo highlights and emphasizes the unique and archaic music of some rather underrepresented regions in the Dancehouse Movement (Aranyoszék) and (Gyergyó) as well since Béla Bartók began his discovery and research of folk music with the unique sounds of Székelyföld which had great impact on his own music as well.
