Welcome!

The mission of the János Arany Hungarian School is to provide an educational institution and a venue to experience community events for Hungarian children and families residing in the New York metropolitan area.
From September through June, we welcome nursery-, elementary- and middle school-aged children and their families to our school community. In addition to teaching Hungarian language skills, literature, history, geography and culture, we aim to have our students emerge from the program as open-minded young people proud of their bilingualism and their ethnic origins.
